Molly Marina · Powernator · Copenhagen 2025
A blue container.
In the middle of city life.
On Kongens Nytorv, in front of the Royal Theatre, a blue container became a space for portraits, stories and new perspectives.
June 28 to July 3, 2025
Come closer.
Powernator took art to the square. Between theater, bicycles, sidewalks and people walking through Copenhagen, Molly Marina opened the door to a different pace: a moment to see, read and think about what Power can mean.
Inside the container, personal portraits stood alongside stories and large photographic works. The red and blue surfaces tied the images together into a dense, sensuous space. Each face provided a new entrance to the exhibition.
An open meeting place.
The exhibition was aimed at curious people with a passion for art and other perspectives. You could come by, take a look and let a picture or a sentence set something in motion. Power became a question about people, about diversity and about what connects us.
The photographs here show the container, the works and life at Kongens Nytorv. They make it possible to experience the place and form of the exhibition again. The exhibition has ended, but the stories still have something to offer.
