My Power
I always have an opinion, I often shout loudly, I'm impatient as hell, I work hard, I do 1000 things at a high pace, I have an inner energy that can seem overwhelming. That's all fine. I am a person that others see as powerful. But the real Power for me, it is created together with others. It arises in the company of the wonderful people I have around me in my family, my friends, my partner, my colleagues – in the deep conversation, in the laughter, in the loud exchange of opinions, in shared experiences, in the silence together. It arises in professional discussions with colleagues and customers when difficult challenges need to be solved in the public sector. It is manifested when the voices unite in the sound of the chamber choir with my fellow singers. And sometimes I get the gift in a short meeting or a longer dinner conversation with a new person. I am deeply grateful for that Power. It's the only Power that really matters to me.
