My Power

My Power is my courage. Courage to return to the classroom after being bullied. Courage to pitch a wild idea that can change results at work. Courage to have that difficult conversation with a friend when a friendship has gone awry. Courage to learn something completely new. I am passionate about making a difference, changing perceptions, creating something new together with others. Challenges give me drive, my passion gives me energy and my persistence gives results. My dreams have come true - both personally and professionally. Despite my early childhood in Brazil and language barriers, I have created a career in communications. Years ago I kept my visions to myself, now I dare to say them out loud. I have - probably like so many others - done early in my career what others wanted you to do to be successful. Today I have put myself in the driver's seat of the car that for several years I thought was going 180 km per hour with (the most adorable) small children, snowsuits, liver-pâté sandwiches and sometimes long working hours. It required me to gather courage - to dare to take myself and my dreams seriously.
