My Power
All women who stand up for others besides themselves are, in my eyes, Power women. Throughout my life I have met and been inspired by many people. But one woman in particular - besides my mother and grandmother - has meant everything to me. Lone Dybkjær, who unfortunately passed away in 2020, was a true power woman who was also my mentor. She called me up one day at the Prime Minister's Office, where I was the first woman to be a special advisor, and reminded me that I must never be afraid of my own shadow! Being a woman in a man's world has taught me that you always have to fight. But also that many people want the best for you if you are dedicated and go to the task with everything you have. That I have felt in recent years, quite privately, that everything has its price when you work hard for a cause close to your heart - that's another matter❤️
