Their personal story was not ready in time for the exhibition opening. So Molly Marina and PPP offer this little story to accompany them on their way. An artistic greeting from us.
The next step
Someone stood on the beach, waiting for the water to become completely still. Only then would it be the right moment to step in.
But the sea had no intention of stopping moving. One wave followed the next. The wind changed. The light did the same.
At last, they took a step. Not a big step or a particularly graceful one. Just far enough for the water to reach their feet. The world was still in motion, but now they had an experience to build on.
Maybe Power doesn't need to start with certainty. Maybe it starts with the small action that gives us something real to feel.
To Nanna, with room for a next step at your own pace.
A literary greeting from Molly Marina and PPP. Written for the person portrayed, this is an imaginative story, not an account of their life.
