My Power

Power has mostly become a performance term, especially in management and career contexts, and expresses extraordinary power on the outside and outwardly. But is it really the strongest form of power? The common Danish word 'strength' better covers what I understand by "Power", because it has more to do with the power and robustness that you have inside, and which gives you integrity. Strength is being empathetic and attentive - to people other than yourself! Being in touch with your emotions without becoming self-absorbed and daring to show both them and your vulnerability in life's really difficult situations, while at the same time having and radiating the masculine power and energy needed to solve the very situations that make you sensitive and vulnerable. Extra strength is having experienced enough in life to have the calm and energy to be able to help others find both power and vulnerability in their difficult situations.
