My Power
Every day you wake up - you have the ability to choose who you want to be - the only one stopping you is YOU!
My definition of “PowerPeople” is people who are true to themselves, dare to follow their calling and share with the world. For most of my life I have been governed by the masculine. I had to prove my worth, took (too much) responsibility for the moods around me, had to live up to the demands of the world. External praise was the fuel for my engine, everything had to be optimized; faster, bigger, better, prettier, more beautiful. You have to perform before you can enjoy. Given a choice, I always chose to climb the highest and most complicated mountain. I was a hard worker. Had to show I was a true Power Woman! And it wasn’t going to be easy, because then I wouldn't be tough. A label I have often been given; you are so tough, Trine. Major crises like divorce, stress and breast cancer have forced me to look inward. No, it is not tough to work myself half to death and forget the most important thing in my life = Trine. Trine is a sensitive woman who must lower her shield and show her vulnerability WITHOUT losing faith in her skills. Make room for the feminine and find balance in the 2 energies. I am still tough if I choose to go around the mountain, wearing high heels and nail polish. For me, that is a much bigger challenge. I am proud of who I am and my company BacusCph. I am grateful for the support I received when I reached out. I love seeing the world reflected in me when I dare to show ME and speak MY truth. I was born on Women's Day, fight for justice and love when women support women. Women can be some Nasty Boss Bitches if they feel threatened. So remember Madelaine Albright's quote: “There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women”. Am I a Power Woman? Maybe. I practice every day. I am well on my way - and if I don't think I can, then I am right. I am true to myself, following my calling and sharing with the world. Happy and on my way
